Unfortunately, the sunscreen arrived after we ordered. The Bolognese was lukewarm with excessive amounts of coarse Parmesan. The salad was barely edible.

This used to be our go-to spot, but since the change of ownership a few years ago, this bar has become a disaster. The service is beyond mediocre. The staff has been cut in half. No one to seat us or take our order. We waited 30 minutes before anyone even came to take our order! It's the same thing every time. The food quality has clearly declined. This place, which used to be so popular, has lost all its charm. It's high time to realize that this place is falling into disrepair and to breathe new life into it. Wake up!

Endless wait on the terrace, plus two servers kept coming back to our tables without bringing us a menu, which we had to get from another table. Then another wait just to take our order. After 35 minutes, we left, and judging by other reviews, we weren't the only ones. I think the staff isn't very motivated to work.

Another disastrous Saturday lunchtime... 40-minute wait for iced tea, 55-minute wait for tapenade, and 1 hour 15 minutes for focaccia! Yet the terrace had emptied due to the storm. So, no excuse about a full indoor and outdoor seating area! The place lives up to the manager's phlegmatic response to our previous comment. Even the servers are aware of the problems and no longer clear the tables on the terrace (or at least not for the time being). Customers leave after sitting for 10-15 minutes without seeing a server... For us, it was the last time at this place, which is slowly and inexorably approaching a rating below 4 out of 5...

We came for lunch on a Sunday with friends. We waited a very long time for our food, only to receive cold dishes in the end. Then no one came to clear our plates or ask if we wanted dessert. Very disappointed.

We went to Square Delicatessen on July 13th for a delicious break during a day of shopping in Strasbourg. We were seated fairly quickly, which was nice. However, we had to wait about 20 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. He apologized, explaining that the restaurant was busy, but given how busy it was (only one table inside and fewer than ten on the terrace), the wait seemed excessive. We ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter to share. It was generous, well-presented, and of good quality. Our only slight complaint: it could have been served with a little more bread, especially since it was meant for four or five people. Finally, the terrace is pleasant, but the tables are extremely close together. The proximity to other customers makes it difficult to maintain any privacy, and you can easily overhear conversations at neighboring tables. In summary, a quality offering and a successful menu, but somewhat slow service and a terrace layout that needs improvement to enhance customer comfort.

We went there 16 july 2026 Even though it was a touristy place, the waiter didn’t speak English. They took our order incorrectly at first, and then our order was forgotten. We had limited time, and because of their mistakes, we ended up leaving hungry all day

The wait was very long; when we arrived, we were told it was busy. In the end, there were 6 tables on the terrace and 0 inside, so it wasn't busy at all.

Great square and fresh food

Nice little Italian bistro! I enjoyed an excellent and generous Insalata pomodori e bufala (except for the focaccia, which didn't seem fresh). With it, a very cold Moretti Italian beer. Friendly service!

We went on Saturday afternoon. We were seated on the terrace, but no one brought us a menu! After 15 minutes, we asked what we wanted to drink. They had no idea what was on the menu! It took another 15 minutes to be served, and we got a diabolo: syrup at the bottom, nothing to mix it with, lots of ice cubes, and barely sparkling lemonade. On the terrace, the people next to us had to go get the menus themselves to be served. Given the wait time for the other tables to order food, we gave up! I don't think I'll be returning to this establishment.

The pizza slices resemble stale bread covered in tomato sauce. The wine is served warm, surely for a summer Christmas market atmosphere.
