Restaurant Le Boucanier

I'll never eat there again. The service was awful. I ordered a salad, goat cheese, and walnuts, and I got pizzas or focaccia instead—yuck! It was frankly terrible, not even worth one star. People who don't eat there don't know about our good restaurants in Schiltigheim. Between Le Quatre Vent, Le Diable au Thym, Le Kaestele, La Cerise, and others, frankly, I'm never going back. A few years ago it was great, but now it's honestly worse than a nursing home...

My friend and I came to enjoy the all-you-can-eat carpaccio, and we really enjoyed this restaurant! The meat was high quality and very flavorful. The terrace overlooking the small square is charming and pleasant, and the service was friendly and efficient. We were even offered a glass of limoncello to help with digestion! It was a wonderful discovery, and I'll definitely be back!

A very nice place with excellent service and good pizzas.

Really loved the place. My friend and I sat on the terrace, had a cocktail before we ordered. I tried a napolitain pizza (so gooodddd) and he had a carpaccio all you can eat menu (he managed five plates haha). Our desserts were rich and delicious. I would 100% recommend. The service was warm and welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere of a local neighbourhood restaurant that will make for a cosy night out.

Very good restaurant, the staff are very friendly and especially attentive to customer requests, the food is good value for money.

In the middle of a heatwave, they fired up the tarte flambée oven. Hats off to the pizza maker! Their pizzas are excellent, but we tried all their tarte flambée: special mention to the garlic and chive tarte flambée 👍

A Sunday evening with the family, a restaurant in the heart of a charming square. We had a wonderful time.

Friendly, energetic, and welcoming staff. Great atmosphere! Just the right amount of relaxing music. It's a truly peaceful place where I love having a drink, lunch, or dinner. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

I called to make a reservation at 5:45 PM, arrived at 6:00 PM, and they informed me with an insolent air of indifference that they wouldn't serve before 6:45 PM. So yes, the food is good, but the service is appalling!

We dined at this restaurant tonight and the experience was extremely unpleasant. Despite being among the first customers and the presence of numerous free tables on the terrace, the seating was sorely lacking, with absolutely no flexibility from the staff. Here are the main negative points of our visit: Service: The servers were particularly unpleasant, cold, and unwelcoming. Value for money: The dishes are very expensive for their mediocre quality. The food was far from tasty. Hygiene and comfort: The terrace was swarming with flies that constantly landed on our plates. The staff took an extremely long time to react and clear the table. The lack of professionalism and the poor quality of the food ruined everything. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

A very good experience. I appreciated the concept of half pizzas with a side salad. The pizzas themselves were excellent. Friendly staff.
