A very pleasant place with beautiful decor. The terrace is spacious and allows you to fully enjoy your meal. The service was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A lovely, friendly restaurant with a great selection of dishes and desserts! The portions are very generous and delicious. The only downsides: the spinach was too salty, the mocktails were overpriced, and the service was very slow due to the large terrace.

Having been a customer more than twenty times, I've definitely noticed a decline in quality, both in terms of service and the food itself. It's unacceptable to wait more than an hour between appetizers and main courses, and when we point this out, we're told it's perfectly normal, and the staff are clearly exasperated. You've lost a customer.

I tried this restaurant for the first time with friends. The service was a bit slow but friendly. One friend had the Mediterraneo menu, which was very good. The dessert could have used a bit more vodka. Another friend ordered a starter, main course, and dessert à la carte. He was satisfied. However, my friend and I were very disappointed with our main course. We chose the Estivale menu. The only prawn was dry and overcooked; it tasted like reheated food. The sea bream fillet was the same and very small. The green salad was poorly seasoned. See the attached photo. The dessert was good. €42.50 for the menu with a dish like that seems expensive and disappointing to me. I don't know if I'll go back.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years, but unfortunately, I find the quality has declined significantly. The wait has become far too long, and the dishes sometimes lack attention to detail. It feels like the service isn't as attentive as it used to be, which is a real shame. I much preferred the old Il Forchettone, where the welcome, speed, and quality were always excellent. I sincerely hope the establishment will return to the level that made its reputation.

A very mixed experience. Before even entering the restaurant, I fell due to two large potholes located right in front of the establishment. The result: a cut knee, a lot of blood, and completely stained pants. Upon arrival, we asked if they had anything to disinfect the wound or at least a bandage. The answer was no. I find this completely unacceptable for an establishment that receives the public. Not having a first-aid kit with even a minimum of disinfectant, compresses, and bandages is incomprehensible, if only for their own employees. A waitress offered me ice, but that obviously doesn't replace the most basic first aid. My friends ended up having to ask the neighbors next to the restaurant if they had disinfectant, compresses, and bandages to treat me. This is a situation that should never have happened. Admittedly, the servers were friendly and the restaurant is pleasant, with good food. However, this does not lessen the bitter taste left by this situation. The service is also quite slow. I hope management will take this problem seriously, because being unable to treat such a simple injury is, in my opinion, unacceptable.

Very average. It's not what it used to be. I wanted to have a nice evening with friends at a restaurant advertised as semi-gastronomic, which I knew well and which used to live up to its promises: beautiful presentation of the dishes, tasty and well-balanced meals, a magnificent setting with a lovely, flower-filled terrace. The result: the terrace wasn't flower-filled, pretty but nothing special; I remember magnificent pots of pink pom-pom hydrangeas that were dazzling, but that was then. After this first disappointment, the waiter arrived, gave us the menus only, and then it was a series of interminable waits. We ate our main course at 10:15 pm, even though we had arrived at 7:30 pm! When the waiter finally came to take our order and we wanted to order the set menus, he told us he was taking the drinks order first, but we didn't have a drinks menu! So, another wait. He brought us the menus, we ordered drinks, and still no option to order the set menus, which would have made things much smoother, but oh well! Then they finally brought them, another very long wait, and then we could finally order the set menu... I chose the summer menu at over €40, which seemed promising. The starter was mediocre; instead of bruschetta, it was nothing more than a slice of bread spread with oil and topped with smoked salmon and salad. No particular presentation. And when the main course arrived after an inordinate wait, there were a prawn and a small fillet of grilled fish vying for attention on the plate, accompanied by a simple green salad. No attractive presentation, no artfully arranged vegetables, no refined side dish. I asked a young woman to express my surprise; she apologized profusely and graciously offered us a small mushroom risotto as an extra. Luckily he was there; he saved the dish. The risotto was very good, and the fish was nicely seared; it was quite decent. Thank you to this very helpful and attentive young woman. The dessert was alright, with a fresh fruit salad, tasty ice cream scoops, excellent whipped cream, and a lovely presentation. Ultimately, it's fortunate that the atmosphere with our friends was cheerful and friendly; we still had a good evening. Thanks to the risotto, the meal was acceptable, but I regret the lack of presentation and finesse for a restaurant that, I repeat, advertises itself as semi-gastronomic. For me, that's not the case at all. Especially since the bill was quite steep with the drinks—a semi-gastronomic experience without the gastronomic elements! Luckily, we weren't too heavy on drinks; it ended up costing €50 per person. I'm not sure I'll be back, certainly not for the set menus. The menu is full of pizzas and pasta dishes that used to be excellent; if I come back, it will be for that type of order.

First of all, the setting is exceptional, a beautiful terrace, a real change of scenery. Unfortunately, the service is lacking. No smiles from the servers, and the waitress forgot to bring us a second aperitif and a bottle of wine. (We reported it to a second server and we're still waiting 😑) The food is good, no complaints there, but for me, service like this won't bring me back. It's a shame to waste such potential.

It took ages to get served!!! I ordered a dish it arrived not as ordered!!! Avoid this place! And the waiter spoke broken Italian, which was a real bummer, unfortunately for me I understand Italian.

Too long a wait, what a shame! There were two of us on the terrace: the restaurant was almost full for this Saturday evening in summer. The terrace setting was very pleasant. The food was very good, although in our opinion the pizza could have had a thinner crust and more toppings, and the four ravioli were practically vying for attention. However, we were very disappointed with the quality of service: - The servers arrived on the terrace with the dishes in hand, unsure of which table to serve. We were asked 5-6 times if a particular order was for us (1-2 times is acceptable, but 5-6 is annoying). - Our order was taken and we were served by 5 different servers, which was confusing because we didn't really know who to ask for anything (normally it's 1 or maybe 2 servers per table). - Some servers (not all) didn't speak French fluently: you'll have a better experience if you speak Italian or German (which was the case for us)! Perhaps this is a deliberate choice to maintain an authentic Italian feel? - And the most regrettable point: we waited far too long! We arrived at 7:30 pm and ordered aperitifs and two set menus (starter, main course, and dessert). Between each course, approximately 45 minutes passed, meaning roughly 15 minutes to eat (which is normal), but more importantly, a 30-minute wait to get our used cutlery and then WAIT for the next course. We tried to get the servers' attention 5 or 6 times (even raising our voices once) without success. - As a result, at 10:30 PM, we were still waiting to order our dessert… and decided to leave without ordering it, and perhaps without ordering coffee and a digestif – the excessively long wait ruined our enjoyment! - After mentioning this at the counter and complaining, we received a gesture of goodwill: a complimentary glass of wine (too little for our liking, but it was something). In short: A high-end Italian restaurant, a beautiful setting, and very good food, BUT marred by disorganized and inefficient service. A wait is to be expected in a restaurant (plus some tolerance on Saturday nights), but this was really excessive. Was it due to overcrowding? Staff shortages, or inefficient staff management? Poor communication? In short, it was a real shame for us, and we won't be going back because we don't want to risk going through that again.

This is the third time I've eaten at this restaurant, and the third time I've had a problem with the glasses! The wait for our aperitif was endless! And to top it all off, while sipping my mojito with a glass straw, I cut my tongue on a shard of glass that was at the bottom of the glass. When I pulled the straw out, I saw that it was completely broken. Considering the prices they charge, they could change the glassware more often! That's it, I'm never going back. 👎

The quality of the food is nowhere near what it used to be. We spent our time swatting away about twenty bluebottle flies in the air-conditioned dining room… Disgusted

The ambiance is beautiful and the food was truly outstanding – absolutely delicious. I would give it 5 stars if I could. Unfortunately, the service significantly detracted from the experience. When we wanted to order, the waiter himself suggested we finish our drinks first and order the food later. When we then called him over to take our order, he became irritated and said the kitchen was closing soon. This is completely incomprehensible to me, as it was his own decision not to take our order initially. It's a real shame that such a lovely restaurant with such good food loses so much quality due to unfriendly and unprofessional staff. The food and the location are highly recommended – the service, unfortunately, is not.

Unfortunately, regarding the truffle ravioli: the only truffles were a few drops of oil added as "decoration." Otherwise, it was mushroom ravioli, good, but mushrooms, not truffles...

A disastrous birthday celebration. The service was terrible, the prices exorbitant (€16.50 for a small dumpling with a few tomatoes and cucumbers), a €3 extra charge for a side dish on top of an overcooked €36 beef fillet, and the ice cream for dessert arrived already melted. We had to take the ice cream back ourselves to get it replaced. Francesco was seated at our table and didn't bother to acknowledge the problems, nor did he offer any compensation on the bill. Their once-good reputation is now ruined. Tonight, they lost seven regular customers.

First time at this highly-rated restaurant near Strasbourg. Reservation for 3 people at 7 pm. When we were seated, they stared at us intently for several minutes (we didn't understand why?). Once we were seated, they left. Were there three of them in a circle, staring at us? Anyway, the service was fast. My friend ordered an appetizer, and I didn't want one. The waiter panicked and didn't even know what to do… Then, when it came to dessert, the menu said SUGGESTION: CHOCOLATE FONDANT. We wanted two. The same waiter got all worked up about us, snatched my menu from my hand, took out his pen, and crossed it out, saying no, they didn't have it. My friend told him it wasn't crossed out at her place either, so he said the same thing: no, madam, they didn't have it. It's worth noting that the waiter doesn't speak French very well, so perhaps there were some communication issues? Another waiter asked us if we had ordered desserts, even though we had already eaten them. Anyway… Then, when it came time to pay, we paid separately, and he told us we had to calculate it ourselves because he didn't have time? I've never seen anything like it in my life. Whether I've been to fancy restaurants, small eateries, or even snack bars, it's always the waiter who does it. We were shocked, showed him, and calculated it ourselves (it took us 2 minutes), and Mr. Antonio came back 20 minutes later? The restaurant is nice, the food was very good, but the service was a complete disaster. It's shameful that a waiter made us feel out of place and was so self-centered. He should find another job! On the other hand, a lovely waitress with a bun and glasses, a brunette, was incredibly kind to us all evening! I won't be going back anytime soon!
